As filming for "Star Wars Episode VII" is underway, more sneak peeks from the set of the highly anticipated movie leak online. The latest on-set pictures, which are shared by Rick Lawrence through his Facebook page (via ComicBookMovie.com), reveal a possible first look at Adam Driver and Gwendoline Christie in their characters' costumes.
In one image, a man who looks like "Girls" actor Driver is featured wearing an orang pilot outift. Someone who resembles "Game of Thrones" star Christie, meanwhile, is pictured donning what is believed to be an Alliance officer uniform consisting of a brown shirt and dark-colored pants. The photos were reportedly taken on the set at Greenham Common.
Details of their roles as well as the movie's plot are still kept under wraps, but it has been rumored that Driver will play a villain in the movie. Another report said he would play Han Solo and Princess Leia's son, who "will be seduced to the Dark Side, and a main plot point for the movie will be their attempt to rescue him."
Original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill return to reprise their roles as Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker respectively, while the other new stars include Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson and John Boyega.
J.J. Abrams takes the helming duty for the new installment of the sci-fi film franchise. Walt Disney Pictures plans to release the movie in theaters nationwide on December 18, 2015.
