One Direction has announced the first official single of their upcoming fourth album, "FOUR". Titled "Steal My Girl", the track would premiere on radios across the world on Monday, September 29, the group's Liam Payne said on Twitter on Sunday, September 14.

The track was written by 1D's Louis Tomlinson and Payne with Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan - the same people behind the stars' hit "Best Song Ever". Bunetta and Ryan also served as producers alongside Paro Westerlund.

"Over cascading stadium piano chords, 'Steal My Girl' shows the band continuing to expand their influences and song-writing ability while retaining their widescreen pop sound," Columbia Records said in a press release.

"FOUR" will be released on November 17 via Syco/Columbia. On the day the record arrives, One Direction will perform on NBC's "Today" show from Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.

Serving as the follow-up to last year's chart-topper "Midnight Memories", the new full-length has so far been preceded by promo single "Fireproof". Having topped the iTunes charts in more than 60 countries, the song broke record after generating 1.1 million downloads in the 24 hours it was available for free on the boy's website on Monday, September 8.
