The E! reality TV star will appear as herself in the season 4 premiere of the CBS comedy.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has landed another gig on a scripted series. The wife of Kanye West is set to guest star in the season 4 opener of CBS' "2 Broke Girls" as herself and help bring attention to Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline's (Beth Behrs) cupcake business.

In the episode, a producer of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" asks Max and Caroline for permission to film the show at the window of their cupcake shop. "They need a big bump, and providence sort of smiles on them when they find out that 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' is doing a segment in Williamsburg, and that they may make an appearance at their shop," executive producer Michael Patrick King tells TVLine.

He continues, "The girls know what that kind of exposure would mean to them. And it turns out there is a bit of a cherry on the ice cream, or the cupcake, because Kim does appear at their window."

However, Max and Caroline's dream to become rich girls is far from becoming a reality. "Because it's a comedy, and because they are broke, it's not a complete silver lining," King notes. "But it is an incredibly sparkly star at the end."

Kim already filmed her scenes on Monday, August 25. She tweeted that morning, "Shooting an episode of #2BrokeGirls with @OfficialKat & @BethBehrs! Can't wait for you to see it 10/27 @ 8pm on #CBS."

King says of landing the reality TV star on the show, "There are the typical '2 Broke Girls' jokes all about [the Kardashians] in the episode. So, it's fun to see someone have a great sense of humor about herself. She read the script, she thought it was funny and she came. We could've [shot] the exact same [episode] without her - but she was the cherry on top."

Kim has previously appeared in scripted series like "CSI: NY", "How I Met Your Mother" and "Last Man Standing". The season 4 premiere of "2 Broke Girls" featuring her will air Monday, October 27 at 8/7c.
