A group of archaeologists tries to find a way out of a pyramid which is full of life threatening traps.

AceShowbiz - Once inside, there is no escaping. The first trailer of "The Pyramid" follows a team of U.S. archaeologists as they enter a newly discovered three-sided pyramid which harbors a creature intent on burying them.
The team unearths an ancient pyramid buried deep beneath the Egyptian desert. As they search the pyramid's depths, they become hopelessly lost in its dark and endless catacombs. Searching for a way out, they become desperate to seek daylight again. They come to realize they aren't just trapped, they are being hunted.
"The Pyramid" comes from producer Alexandre Aja, Mark Canton, Chady Eli Mattar and Scott C. Silver. It's a directing debut of Gregory Levasseur who wrote "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Maniac". 20th Century Fox will release it on theaters nationwide December 5.
