A longer sneak peek at kid-centric found-footage thriller "Earth to Echo" is offered in its first full trailer. It follows a group of young kids investigating a mysterious object. While the previous teaser stopped short of showing their finding, this new video gives a clear look at the strange being and reveals the plot more.
The idea of hunting for alien came up after those kids received strange, encoded messages on their cell phones. Armed only with a camera to tape their finding, they embark on a secret adventure to crack the code, which they believed was some kind of map, and follow it to its source. However, these kids are unprepared for what happens next.
The film will be released in the U.S. starting July 2. The ET-esque movie marks Dave Green's feature film directorial debut and stars relatively-unknown young stars like Teo Halm, Brian "Astro" Bradley, Reese Hartwig, Ella Wahlestedt, and Jason Gray-Stanford.
