The first sneak peek to kid-oriented found-footage thriller "Earth to Echo" has arrived, teasing suspenseful scenes in the movie. It shows a group of young kids investigating a mysterious object. They are armed only with a camera to tape their finding.
After a construction project begins digging in their neighborhood, best friends Tuck, Munch and Alex inexplicably begin to receive strange, encoded messages on their cell phones. Convinced something bigger is going on, they go to their parents and the authorities.
When everyone around them refuses to take the messages seriously, the three take matters into their own hands and embark on a secret adventure to crack the code and follow it to its source. It stars Teo Halm, Brian "Astro" Bradley, Reese Hartwig, Ella Wahlestedt and Jason Gray-Stanford.
The ET-esque movie is directed by Dave Green and will be released the in the United States on April 25, 2014.
