AceShowbiz - A new trailer for true-story crime drama "Devil's Knot" has been released, giving a longer look at the big-screen take on the infamous West Memphis Three. Colin Firth channels his inner detective to find the truth about the brutal murders of three 8-year-old boys in the small town and religious community of West Memphis, Arkansas.
Due to the violent and gruesome nature of the killings, some residents believed that a satanic cult was responsible for the crime. Based on Mara Leveritt's 1993 book, the film premiered at 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and will hit select theaters in the U.S. on May 9.
Dane DeHaan plays one of the three teenage suspects who were convicted despite a lack of evidence. Reese Witherspoon stars as one of the victims' mother, while Stephen Moyer portrays deputy prosecuting attorney, John Fogelman.
