Lionsgate is looking to continue "The Hunger Games" success by locking another young adult book. As the Jennifer Lawrence-led movie series is coming to an end with only two installments left, the studio now picks up film rights to Jeanne Ryan's 2012 novel "Nerve".

Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman ("Catfish") are tapped as directors, THR reports. Scripted by Jessica Sharzer ("American Horror Story"), it follows a high schooler participating in an online game of truth or dare with her fate left in the hands of commenters on the internet.

At first, it's an exhilarating experience as fans cheer the participants on to riskier dares with higher stakes. But the game takes a twisted turn when they're directed to a secret location for the Grand Prize round. Suddenly they're playing all or nothing, with their lives on the line.

After making sensation with their Sundance hit "Catfish" which inspired a popular MTV show, Joost and Schulman went on to tackle horror genre with "Paranormal Activity 3" and "Paranormal Activity 4". The duo is now working on an untitled thriller for Blumhouse.
