Leonardo DiCaprio stole the show on "Saturday Night Live" January 25. The Golden Globe-winning actor made a surprise appearance on the episode hosted by his "The Wolf of Wall Street" co-star Jonah Hill during his monologue.

Hill initially didn't say nice things about DiCaprio when audience members began asking questions about the "Django Unchained" star. He claimed that DiCaprio wasn't Martin Scorsese's first choice for "Wolf of Wall Street".

"I call up Marty Scorsese, I say, 'Marty its JH. I'm ready to get in the ring together.' He says, 'Finally,' " Hill recalled. "Then I say, 'Should we get DiCaprio on board?' And Marty says, 'I don't know if he can handle it. Sure he's a movie star and puts teenage girls in the seats. But we need a real actor like you.' "

He tried to backtrack his statement when DiCaprio suddenly appeared from backstage and confronted him. "Jonah, I knew this was going to happen if you got nominated," DiCaprio said. "You don't have to pretend anymore. You're a real actor now. You should be humble. You should be gracious."

As Hill looked nervous, he asked his co-star, "Remember when we were on set and I'd great really nervous? Can we do the thing that we did every time? The thing that made me feel safe." They then did the famous "Titanic" scene featuring Kate Winslet, with DiCaprio embracing Hill from behind while the music played in the background.

Hill parodied another movie, Spike Jonze's "Her", in a sketch titled "Me". He played a man who's romancing his operating system featuring his own voice. Michael Cera then appeared as a surrogate to help Hill's character further express his love to his OS personality.

"SNL" once again took a jab at Justin Bieber following his DUI arrest. On Weekend Update segment, Kenan Thompson played the Miami Beach police officer who pulled the superstar over and compared the incident to "finding a swaggy little leprechaun." He, however, said that Bieber's behavior wasn't that bad by the city's standards. "It's the only city in America where NBA players are the best behaved people," he quipped.

Despite boosted by DiCaprio, the latest episode of "SNL" was down in ratings compared to the episode hosted by Drake. The episode featuring musical guest Bastille averaged a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with local people meters and a 4.8/12 in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets. It, however, was rated 37|percent| higher in metered-market households than the primetime program on the Big 4 networks.
