A surveillance video has captured moments when Justin Bieber allegedly was chased by the police in Miami Beach, Fla. on Tuesday, January 21. The short video which is obtained by WFOR CBS Miami shows a yellow Lamborghini passing the road and followed by other cars.

A black Cadillac Escalade is next to it and a red Ferrari follows alongside another Cadillac Escalade. A police car can be seen seconds later. According to the police, Bieber was behind the wheel of a rented yellow Lamborghini when the authorities pulled him over, while the one in the red Ferrari was fellow arrestee, his rapper friend Khalil Sharieff. The "Baby" singer was arrested for DUI, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest.

The Canadian heartthrob broke silence after leaving the jail, writing on Twitter that he would "forever be grateful" for his fans' support. "YOU ARE ALL WORTHY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS >> BE STRONG GOD IS WITH US ALL> MY BELIEBERS CHANGED MY LIFE> I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL," he wrote on January 24. The star additionally posted a photo of him waving to his fans when leaving the jail, adding a photo of Michael Jackson sporting V sign beside his snap. "What more can they say," he captioned the photo.

The singer's father as well as his manager Scooter Braun have come to his defense post-arrest. "I can protect my kids, but I can't protect them from you and your lies. Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy. #reallife," Jaremy Bieber tweeted. Braun, meanwhile, said, "@justinbieber love you and I will act in the manner of someone who truly cares. That is all I have to say. Thanks for all those concerned."
