Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may have a superhero movie on his plate. The pro wrestler-turned-actor teased an upcoming DC Comics project during a question & answer session with his Twitter followers on New Year's Eve.

The "Fast Five" star revealed he had met with Warner Bros' CEO to discuss the unnamed project. "We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk," so he wrote.

The Rock was once linked to play DC's interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter Lobo in a movie, but he already said a while back that the film "went away." He was also mentioned as a contender to portray Black Adam in "Shazam!", but the project had been canned as well.

New speculation emerged that the "Race to Witch Mountain" actor could be circling a role in the upcoming "Man of Steel 2" which will pit Superman against the Caped Crusader, as he hyped up the Q&A with a photo of himself wearing a Batman t-shirt.

The Rock will play the titular demigod in "Hercules: The Thracian Wars" due July 25 and will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in "Fast and Furious 7". He is also attached to star in two other new flicks "San Andreas" and "Not Without Hope".

"Hawaii is my fav. Cool to announce my next film, SAN ANDREAS will be filmed in Brisbane, Australia. #April#AussieLove#RockTalk," he spilled. "I'll clarify. SAN ANDREAS (my next movie shooting in April) is the first ever big 3D earthquake disaster film. #RockTalk."

He said in another post, "Im cautiously excited to start shooting NOT WITHOUT HOPE. To tell this story and become this man is truly an honor. #RockTalk."
