Nicks officiated the wedding of the musician couple on Friday, December 27 and signed their marriage license.

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Carlton is married to fellow musician John McCauley and doing the honor to officiate the wedding was Fleetwood Mac's singer Stevie Nicks. Carlton shared her wedding photos on Twitter on Friday, December 27, the same day she swapped vows with McCauley.
"Married this gentleman two hours ago xo," Carlton captioned a Twitter picture of her staring at her husband lovingly. She wore a simple long sleeve white dress with plunging neckline and a floral headpiece that matched her bouquet. The "A Thousand Miles" singer also shared a picture of Nicks officiating their nuptials. "Thanks Stevie for marrying us!" Carlton wrote.
McCauley himself posted a photo via Instagram, of Nicks signing their wedding license. "Here is Stevie Nicks doing my marriage paperwork," the Deer Tick frontman wrote. Another snap of the trio was posted with the caption, "Married! Thank you to the Honorable Reverend Stevie Nicks for doin' us the deed!!!"
The wedding news came only two months after Carlton announced that she had been diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy. She went on an emergency surgery after suffering internal bleeding and had her entire right fallopian tube removed.
