According to the law in Tennessee, a person driving a vehicle while boozing is legal as long as it happens in a private property.

Country crooner Luke Bryan was caught chugging on beer while driving his truck in July. However, the act was considered legal because Bryan rode the truck on his private ranch in Tennessee.

Seen in a couple of pictures obtained by TMZ, Bryan was drinking from a Busch can which is "as smooth as it's name." The site went on reporting that Knoxville Police Department did not find anything wrong with it because it's his legal right. Local law permitted driver to drink while driving as long as it's on private property.

Coincidentally, Bryan is in the middle of promoting his latest single titled "Drink a Beer". The ballad is about losing someone close and toasting that person with a beer. "It's one of the coolest sad songs I've ever heard," Bryan told Radio.com about the song. He added, "I just thought it was an amazingly written song."

Bryan went on explaining, the subject "was something that everybody can connect with, because so many people out there have lost somebody. And their connection with them was, they used to have a beer in a bar with them, or have a beer anywhere with them. Drinking a beer with a friend is a huge connection, and that song [brings] all those emotions together."
