Keith Urban has chopped off his signature hairstyle. The country singer showed off his new hairdo in an Instagram photo on November 26. The photo shows him wearing a white Bob Marley t-shirt. Smiling, Nicole Kidman's husband can be seen looking down the floor as he took the snap.

The New Zealand-born singer caused online buzz with the new hairdo. "Love it!!! Looks great!" an Instagram user wrote, while many others echoed similar sentiment. Some others, however, disapproved of the haircut. "Nope, sorry Keith. [I] prefer the long hair," a fan said. Another fan wrote a hysterical-sounding tweet which read, "Not the hair Keith!! Not the HAIR!!!!"

Before sharing the selfie, Urban hinted at having a haircut. He posted a photo of his hair littered on the floor on the hair salon. He captioned the picture, "Snow ain't the only thing falling in Nashville today!! -KU." One of his fans commented on the Instagram post, "Is that what I think it is?? I hope not." Kidman's reaction, meanwhile, is still unclear.

Urban will next perform in South Carolina's Bi-Lo Center in Greenville on December 6 as a part of his "Light the Fuse Tour". He will also serve as a judge on the 13th season of "American Idol" which kicks off on January 15 on Fox.
