"A mission so dangerous, it requires a new agent," so a narrator says in the opening of a preview for the new episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". Coulson is later featured meeting Mike Peterson, the man with super power in the first episode, and tells him, "We need you to suit up."
Melinda May is seemingly not keen on the idea of having Peterson in the team as saying, "You shouldn't be here." Indeed, Peterson's loyalty is going to be tested as the team needs immediate support when things get intense.
In "The Bridge", Coulson takes the war back to Centipede, and this time he brings in Mike Peterson for some super-soldier support. As they get closer to the truth, startling secrets are revealed and an unexpected twist threatens the team.
The episode, which is the first part of the two-part mid-season finale, will air Tuesday, December 10 at 8/7c on ABC. J. August Richards reprises his role as Peterson.
