Police officers pulled Kim Kardashian over for speeding while avoiding several cars driven by paparazzi. While Kardashian received a ticket for the offense, most of the paparazzi members got away without citation.

According to TMZ, around five cars chased Kardashian on a Los Angeles freeway Tuesday, November 12. A helicopter with paparazzi on it was reportedly also hovering over the car. Kardashian sped to flee them but some of the paps got out of their cars in the middle of the freeway to snap pictures of her. As a result, a traffic jam ensued.

Police officers were not happy with the incident. They thought the paparazzi and Kardashian were endangering many lives including themselves, the officers and other drivers. The California Highway Patrol cited one photographer for speeding, but the rest managed to escape without any citations.

CHP is also looking further into the case to see whether a further prosecution is necessary. "They're not getting away with this," a source told TMZ.

Kardashian and fiance Kanye West were just back from Los Angeles to party at Leonardo DiCaprio birthday bash on early Tuesday morning. They took daughter North West for a doctor's appointment later that day.
