'The Host' Star Jake Abel Marries Allie Wood

The Ian O'Shea depicter and his fashion blogger fiancee tie the knot in front of friends and family members in New Orleans.

AceShowbiz - Jake Abel, who plays Luke Castellan in "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters", is now a married man. The 25-year-old actor and his fiancee Allie Wood tied the knot on Saturday, November 9 in New Orleans.

According to JustJared, Abel's co-star in "Percy Jackson" Alexandra Daddario served as one of the bridesmaids. In addition, Cassandra Jean and "Veronica Mars" star Kyle Gallner attended the actor's wedding.

Abel proposed to Wood in Times Square on New Year's Eve last year. Abel confirmed his engagement in a special issue of Us Weekly which featured his flick, "The Host". "My fiancee is very supportive. She's like, 'Wear that! It's more handsome. They'll like you more!' It's good. I got a good one," he said. When asked about his wedding plan, he replied with a smirk, "I'm not telling you."

In addition to "Percy Jackson" and "The Host", Abel took part in 2009's "The Lovely Bones". He will next be seen in "Ghosts of the Pacific" as a World War II radio man. He also takes part in upcoming biographical movie about singer/songwriter Brian Wilson, "Love & Mercy". Other cast members include John Cusack, Paul Giamatti and Paul Dano.
