Kanye West made an unexpected appearance during the second annual Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All carnival. The rapper, who's currently in the middle of his "Yeezus" tour, took the stage at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles during Tyler, the Creator's headlining set.

Not only did the 36-year-old entertainer surprise the concertgoers, but he also got Tyler stunned. "I don't know what to do right now, so - can I have a hug first? I am so f**king happy," he said when introducing the special guest.

Joined by Tyler and Earl Sweatshirt onstage, Kanye then performed "New Slaves" which was taken from his "Yeezus" album. He continued treating fans with a live rendition of "Late", a track featured in his 2005 set "Late Registration".

Kanye asked for Tyler's help to perform the song, saying that he had not performed it "in six years." Tyler did a good job assisting Kanye, who had some trouble at first but ended up taking care of the second verse.

Kanye's surprise appearance at the carnival came just days after he gushed over the young rapper in an interview with Los Angeles' 97.1 AMP Radio. Late last month, the fiance of Kim Kardashian called the Odd Future leader an "artist, innovator, and a good mentor."

Tyler helped Kanye with some of the "Yeezus" tour merchandise. "He came in and was like, these are the principals, because he's so talented and understands things because he went to film school," said Kanye. "I literally would like email and be like, 'Can you teach me how to make videos?' I want to learn."
