Russell Brand has confirmed that he is no longer single. The former husband of singer Katy Perry revealed to Huffington Post UK that he has a girlfriend but would not reveal her name.

In the conversation taking place on Monday, November 4 night, Brand said, "I'm in a relationship at the moment." The 38-year-old also shared, "I'm off to see my girlfriend," before leaving. This is contradictory to his statement during a stand-up show last month, in which he said he was "currently single".

Brand has been linked to "Towie" actress Ferne McCann and Hugh Grant's ex Jemima Khan. While he had denied his relationship with the former, Brand remains mum about the latter. In September, he wrote in an article for The Guardian, "Now I'm not typically immune to the allure of objectified women but I am presently beleaguered by a nerdish, whirling dervish and am eschewing all others. Perhaps the clarity of this elation has awakened me."

In another news, Brand recently marched alongside hundreds of protesters taking the streets of London. Joining the Anonymous group's MillionMasksMarch, Brand opposed austerity cuts, corruption and an increase in state surveillance. "Whatever party they claim to represent in the day, at night they show their true colours and all go to the same party #MillionMaskMarch," he tweeted.
