DreamWorks Animation has shared first footage from "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" by releasing its first trailer in various languages. Though it's not available in English, people can enjoy the funny and hilarious moments teased in the snippet. It offers a glimpse of the title characters' first encounter and their journey in Egypt.
Mr. Peabody is a talking dog who is the smartest being in the world. When his adopted boy Sherman uses their time-traveling machine without permission, historical events spiral out of control to disastrous and comical results. It's up to this unexpected team to put things back on track before the space-time continuum is destroyed.
"Modern Family" star Ty Burrell lends his voice to Mr. Peabody, while Max Charles voices Sherman. Stephen Colbert, Allison Janney, Ellie Kemper, Ariel Winter and Stephen Tobolowsky also join the cast ensemble of the animated film directed by Rob Minkoff.
The 3D film will open in theaters nationwide March 7, 2014.
