'X-Men: Days of Future Past' First Teaser Shows Mutants in Anger and Pain

The short video shows Storm and Beast in fury as well as Wolverine and Mystique in physical and emotional pain respectively.

AceShowbiz - Marvel gives double treat Thursday, October 24. Besides "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" trailer, the studio unlashes a very first teaser for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" for fans' viewing pleasure before the official full trailer arrives on October 29.

Only a few seconds long, the video released on Instagram offers glimpses of the older mutants along with versions of their younger selves. It shows intriguing scenes from a tortured Wolverine, an angry Storm, a roaring Beast, and a crying Mystique among others.

James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are back as the young Professor X and Magneto with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen portraying their older versions respectively. Jennifer Lawrence returns as Mystique, Halle Berry as Storm, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Directed by Bryan Singer, the film is due May 23, 2014 in the U.S.
