AceShowbiz - Ryan Murphy has teased "Glee" fans with a promotional photo for a Cory Monteith tribute episode. On Thursday, September 26, the same day the fifth season of the musical series premiered on FOX, the series creator tweeted the image which features a close-up look at the late actor and a tagline which reads, "The hardest word to say is 'goodbye.' "
The "Glee" cast and fans will bid farewell to Monteith and his character Finn Hudson in an October 10 outing. Before that, the show will return on October 3 with a new episode titled "Tina in the Sky with Diamonds", which is the second part of The Beatles tribute.
A preview for the next outing teases New Directions' performance of "Hey Jude" and Demi Lovato's guest-starring appearance among others. Santana appears to be nervous when she meets Lovato's Dani, but the two soon get to know each other well and may share a kiss.
A synopsis for the episode says, "As Beatlemania continues at McKinley, it's time for the students to vote for prom queen and king. When Tina receives a nomination, she takes on a fierce attitude that alienates her biggest supporters. Meanwhile, Rachel adjusts to a new attitude of her own, as she and Santana work at a Broadway diner to make ends meet."
