The former Disney star tweets that the new song, which joins Coldplay's 'Atlas' on the highly-anticipated movie's soundtrack, will be called 'We Remain'.

AceShowbiz - Pop singer Christina Aguilera has recorded a song that will be featured on the soundtrack for upcoming movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire". The judge of "The Voice" took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 25 to announce her involvement on the movie's soundtrack

She told her fans that the song would be called "We Remain". "Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. 'We Remain' is a special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike," Aguilera tweeted.

Aguilera's "We Remain" joins Coldplay's "Atlas" on the soundtrack of the highly anticipated movie.

Recently, indie rock band The National also revealed that they had written a song for the second installment of "The Hunger Games" trilogy. The band's frontman, Matt Berninger, said that he and his bandmates wrote a song called "Dying Is Easy". The title was then changed into "Lean" because the film producer thought the original title was "too dark."

Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is slated to open in U.S. theaters on November 22.
