After bidding farewell to "Breaking Bad" fans this coming weekend, Bryan Cranston will help send off another show. The Emmy-winning actor is set to return to the final season of "How I Met Your Mother".

CBS broke the news via its Twitter account, writing in a post, "CASTING NEWS! @BryanCranston returns to #HIMYM later this fall as Hammond Druthers! #BreakingMOTHER." Cranston is signed to appear in one episode of the show's ninth season.

Cranston's Hammond Druthers is Ted's former jerk boss. He appeared in two episodes of season 2, before he's known as the Walter White of "Breaking Bad", and hasn't been seen again on the sitcom since then.

Cranston will film his part for "HIMYM" soon and his episode is expected to air this fall. He joins Wayne Brady and John Lithgow who have been previously announced to make a trip back to the long-running comedy series.
