Many celebrities, including Union and Faison, take to Twitter to mourn the death of the 'Rizzoli and Isles' star who passes away after committing suicide.

AceShowbiz - Many stars offer condolences via Twitter following the tragic death of "The Famous Jett Jackson" actor Lee Thompson Young, who apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Young's former co-stars Gabrielle Union and Donald Faison are among the mourners.
"I had the pleasure of working w/ #LeeThompsonYoung on 'Flash Forward' & he was an extremely talented beautiful soul. My thoughts & prayers are with his loved ones #RIP," Union wrote. Faison tweeted, "This breaks my heart. RIP Lee Thompson Young."
Solange Knowles wrote, "Very very sad to hear about Lee Thompson Young. He was always very kind, and such a light." Actor Grant Gustin, who took part on "Glee" and "90210", also grieved on Twitter, writing, "RIP Lee Thompson Young. So so sad."
The Jett Jackson depicter was found lifeless by his landlord at his North Hollywood home on Monday, August 19. He was only 29. TMZ reported that Young was dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Young, who starred on "Rizzoli & Isles" prior to his death, did not show up on the filming location, prompting staff members to call the actor's landlord.
Young's publicist confirmed the actor's cause of death in a statement. "It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning...Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed," the publicist said.
There was no info as to why Young took his own life. According to the authorities, the actor did not leave a suicide note. The actor's diary entries reportedly leave no clues either.
The executive producer of "Rizzoli & Isles", Janet Tamaro, said that the cast members were "devastated" after learning of the actor's death. "Everyone at [the show] is devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young. We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on- and offscreen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace. We send our deepest condolences and thoughts to his family, to his friends and, most especially, to his beloved mother," she said in a statement.
