"American Horror Story: Coven" has dropped another haunting promo to tease viewers about the upcoming season. It features creepy shots of a body floating above a staircase. The video comes with the caption, "Misbehave and incur our kind of suspension."

This latest teaser follows the first one, which sees girls facing walls above the ground, and the second promo, which shows a woman stabbed with pins and comes with a description which reads, "Because 'pinning' on the internet is all the rage ..."

"Coven" is the third chapter in Ryan Murphy's horror anthology series. It is set in New Orleans and stars Kathy Bates as Marie Delphine LaLaurie, or Madame LaLaurie, loosely based on the real-life Louisiana-born socialite who was known for killing and torturing black slaves in the 1830s.

Original cast member Jessica Lange returns to portray a new character, Fiona, who is a witch, with Sarah Paulson as her daughter. Angela Bassett is cast as Marie Laveau, a real-life Louisiana Creole woman "in the 1800s who was very influential in the city." She was known as a Voodoo priestess.

"Female power" is a major theme of the third season, but "there are also themes of race and oppression and family - especially mothers and daughters - along with laughs and scares and a few tears," executive producer Tim Minear teased.

It will premiere in October on FX.
