"The Pirate Fairy", one of Disneytoons' two new projects unveiled at the D23 expo in Anaheim, California, has debuted its first teaser and announced the inclusion of two voice cast members during the event held on Friday morning, August 9. As it turns out, Christina Hendricks and Tom Hiddleston have landed roles in the animated movie.

"Mad Men" actress Hendricks is signed on to lend her voice for Zarina, a fairy who longs to be a pirate. Meanwhile, Hiddleston, who will not reprise his role as Loki in "Avengers: Age of Ultron", will tackle a role as a young Captain Hook in the Peggy Holmes-directed film.

"Cabin Boy James is educated and polite and energetic and charming and attentive. James and Zarina are steady on. They're like best friends ... for a while," Hiddleston said of his character to the D23 crowd. "It's all an act. He's covering for his ruthless and cunning nature." Hendricks then chimed in, "Imagine the betrayal!"

As revealed through the teaser trailer, Tinker Bell and her fairy friends find that their respective talents have been switched. They have to race against time to retrieve what a misunderstood dust-keeper fairy named Zarina steals, Blue Pixie Dust, and return home to save Pixie Hollow.

"The Pirate Fairy" will make its way out onto U.S. theaters in spring 2014.
