Grammy Award-winning singer Fiona Apple premieres a new music video for her single "Hot Knife" after 11 years since her last one. It reunites her for the fourth time with former longtime boyfriend Paul Thomas Anderson who had previously directed her other videos, "Paper Bag", "Fast as You Can" and "Limp".

The four-minute visuals is ultra simple in its execution with shots of Apple in all her natural beauty, in a black top and with hair pulled into a bun, banging a drum in a dark room, switching from black-and-white to colored visuals as split screens show different close-up angles of the singer. Her sister, Maude Maggart, appears in several scenes as she provides additional vocals.

"Hot Knife" is actually a cut from her fourth studio album "The Idler Wheel..." released mid last year. It was both a critically-acclaimed record as well as a commercial success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Albums and Rock Albums charts.

Apart from Anderson, Apple also dated magician David Blaine, actor/writer Jonathan Ames and was said to have briefly married a French photographer some years ago. Meanwhile, Anderson, who has directed such highly-acclaimed films as "The Master", "Magnolia" and "There Will Be Blood", is now involved with "Saturday Night Live" cast member Maya Rudolph.
