Justin Bieber's unexpected appearance thrilled the female fans at Cody Simpson's concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Friday night, June 14. When Simpson was performing his track, "Pretty Brown Eyes", Bieber suddenly showed up on the stage to dance and sing together.

Done with his surprise, Bieber went backstage with the 16-year-old Australian heartthrob. "So what's up guys? I'm with my homie Cody Simpson. I used to call him my little bro but now he's kind of become my big bro because he's bigger than me, man," Bieber said in front of the camera.

He then went on praising Simpson and helped promote his upcoming album, "Surfers Paradise", saying, "He's doing great things, recording a lot of great songs, working hard in the dance studio -I can see you. Look out for his next album, it's going to be big."

Bieber also took to Twitter to boast about the gig. "Surprised the crowd at my bro Cody Simpson's show tonight. Proud of him. He killed it! Great job Cody," he tweeted. "Everyone go see his show. Cody Simpson is talented. Pretty brown eyes I helped with on tour. Good song."

Simpson joined Bieber's "Believe" concert tour in 2012 and he has been Bieber's good friend ever since. Simpson will next release his "Surfers Paradise" on July 16. Describing the follow-up to 2012's "Paradise" as a "classic summer album," he added, "I grew up playing the acoustic guitar and I decided I really wanted to go back to my roots on this album."
