TV

The life of a professional 'fixer' for the rich and famous starts to unravel when his father is unexpectedly released from prison.

AceShowbiz - "Ray Donovan" will not premiere on Showtime until June 30, but people can now watch the pilot in its entirety. The full one-hour first episode of the new series has now been made available for viewing pleasure via the channel's YouTube account.

Set in the sprawling mecca of the rich and famous, the drama series centers on the titular character who does the dirty work for LA's top power players. Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Liev Schreiber plays the go-to guy who makes the problems of the city's celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls disappear.

This powerful family drama unfolds when his father, played by Oscar winner Jon Voight, is unexpectedly released from prison, setting off a chain of events that shakes the Donovan family to its core.

"Ray Donovan" marks the first lead television role for Schreiber, who is known for his roles in films such as the "Scream" trilogy, "Phantoms", "The Sum of All Fears", "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", "Salt", and many others. The Ann Biderman-created series will air Sundays at 10 P.M., enjoying the boost from Showtime's successful series "Dexter".
