The wax figure is dressed in a sparkly silver dress to imitate the 'Womanizer' singer's look at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - Madame Tussauds museum, famous for creating extremely authentic wax statues, cannot get enough of having one statue of Britney Spears. The museum unveiled a new wax figure of the "Circus" singer in New York on March 26, the same day Emma Watson's waxwork was unveiled in London.

The new figure features a curly blonde Spears smiling widely in a sparkly silver dress with a plunging neckline. The look is inspired by her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008. That time, when she performed "Piece of Me" and won three awards, is thought to be her comeback after a couple years of personal upheavals.

Spears' first sculpture was presented in 2003. The first creation shows the queen of pop upside down in mid pole-dance wearing a skimpy green outfit similar to the one she wore during her performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U" at the 2001 VMAs.

Meanwhile, Spears was spotted stopping by a friend's house in Malibu on March 25. The 31-year-old singer came to have some fun with her pal after she and rumored beau David Lucado spent time together attending a Shania Twain concert and the Cirque du Soleil One Drop show last week. After some bikini-clad sunbathing, Spears and her pal went out for lunch at Cafe Habana.
