While newlywed Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds remained mum about their wedding, her brother was willing to share a bit of story behind the uber-secret nuptials. Jason Lively explained what he did to prevent the wedding plan from leaking.

"I traveled all around the country and rented cars from out of state to keep it under wraps," the 44-year-old opened up to the New York Daily News. "It was amazing," he gushed further about the ceremony. "I think they did a good job. It was spectacular."

Blake, 25, and Ryan, 35, exchanged wedding vows on Sunday night, September 9 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant. She walked down the aisle in a custom Marchesa gown, while he slipped into a specially-made Burberry suit with custom leather suspenders.

Penn Badgley, who dated Blake shortly after "Gossip Girl" began, said he "couldn't be happier for her." "I actually didn't know until last night, but I think it's fantastic," the actor told PEOPLE. "I'm so happy for her. I think it's everything that it should be."

The couple tied the knot in North Carolina because it's Ryan's favorite town. They got married in "an intimate, personalized party, gathering their immediate and extended family at a rustic barn in South Carolina." They exchanged wedding rings by Lorraine Schwartz.

"From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration," Martha Stewart Weddings spilled. Photos from the wedding are expected to appear in the December issue of the publication.
