Before the lights at the Staples Center are out, the 'Speak Now' hitmaker takes the stage for a final performance that ends with her crowd-surfing.

AceShowbiz - After a number of live performances and a series of awards, 2012 MTV Video Music Awards was closed by Taylor Swift. The 22-year-old country/pop singer performed her latest breakup song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" to send the star-studded crowd flocking to the Staples Center home.

Swift traded her J. Mendel white suit she wore on the red carpet with a striped top and black shorts for the performance. Introduced by Kevin Hart as his girlfriend of five minutes, she kicked off her set in a recording-booth setting, put on sunglasses as she strutted her stuff to the center stage, and jumped for crowd-surfing at the end of it.

At one point, the camera zoomed in on a smiling Taylor Lautner who was once romantically linked to Swift. While she was there to perform, the Jacob Black of "Twilight Saga" joined forces with co-star Robert Pattinson to premiere "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II" trailer.
