Nucky is seemingly dealing with guilt for killing Jimmy, but will move on with his business and fight his new rival.

Another promo for "Boardwalk Empire" season 3 is released a few weeks shy of the show's return. Sharing more new footage, the sneak peek sees Nucky who is seemingly feeling guilty for pulling the trigger and killing his former protege Jimmy in last season's finale. "Do you think about any of them?" he asks Richard Harrow who admits to having killed 63 people.
Despite the emotional conflict, Nucky refuses to slow down in business. He is going all out to fight his new rival, Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Cannavale), who challenges the corrupt politician for control of the bootleg business.
Set in 1923 when alcohol is scarce and gangster violence is heating up, the new installment of the period drama series follows Nucky whose marriage to Margaret is already on the rocks. At the same time, he faces the challenge of mending old relationships and encounters new competition from a ruthless gangster.
It will premiere Sunday, September 16 at 9 P.M. ET on HBO.
