Ryan Lochte, Prince Harry's pal in Las Vegas swim race, has offered his thoughts on the royal game of strip pool that happened after their impromptu match. In an interview on "Today" show, the gold medalist said he's relieved that he was never invited to the afterparty.

"After our race we went our separate ways," Lochte said. The 28-year-old athlete, who was in the Sin City to celebrate his Olympic win and birthday, then admitted that he was "kinda happy" that he didn't participate in the strip billiards. "I don't need that," he reasoned.

Of how he met the Prince, Lochte recalled, "We were at the same pool party, and his people came over to my table and said, 'Hey, Prince Harry wants to meet you'." He added, "He was like, 'You want to race me in the pool?' I was like, 'All right, let's go'."

Talking about Harry, the swimmer gushed, "You know how he's a part of the royal family and everything, but he's really a nice guy. He's really talkative and he really wanted to meet me and honestly wanted to race me. I thought that was the coolest thing."

Prince Harry jumped into the pool with his jeans on, but later took off all his clothes when playing billiard with some female guests inside his VIP suite. Soon after the photos of his naked self made their ways out, he got an offer to pose in the buff for Playgirl.

"I think what we all started to decide right away was just how much money the offers would go out for him," Playgirl publisher Vincent Stevens told E! News. "There's no way in the world that he would ever consider this but you're talking about numbers in the six figures right off the bat."
