The grandmother's appeal to share the day-to-day tasks with his 34-year-old grandson has been granted by a judge.

A Los Angeles judge has ruled that Katherine Jackson is now to share the custody of Michael Jackson's kids with TJ Jackson. Paris, Prince and Blanket will now also be under the permanent guardianship of their 34-year-old cousin who has been called a father figure to them for years.
As a note, TJ has been asked to keep the kids at bay from the rift that has torn the family apart. The judge wants TJ to make sure that they are not negatively affected. In addition, TJ is also responsible for the day-to-day tasks of taking care the children, including management of household personnel and security.
It was actually Katherine who asked for the joint custody of the children. "That pleading will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson's tragic passing," her lawyer Perry Sanders told TMZ last month. "[It] reflected the wishes of [Michael Jackson's] children."
Katherine remains in charge of the financial matters.
