"Magic Mike" star Matthew McConaughey has joined the stellar cast of Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street". His character, Mark Hanna is the early boss and mentor of Leonardo DiCaprio's Jordan Belfort.
"Wolf of Wall Street" revolves around a Long Island penny stockbroker who served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration.
Script is written by "Boardwalk Empire" scribe Terence Winter. Shooting begins this month in New York for a premiere next year. Also in the cast are Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal, Cristin Milioti, P.J. Byrne and Ethan Suplee.
