Hollie Cavanagh came to visit "Live! with Kelly" following her elimination on "American Idol". Introduced by guest host Jimmy Kimmel, the fourth-place finisher who was originally from Liverpool, England performed her rendition of Leona Lewis' hit single "Bleeding Love".

After the performance, Hollie did a brief chat with Kelly Ripa and Kimmel. The 18-year-old aspiring singer, who currently lives in Texas, talked about her British roots, made comments about auditioning for "Idol" twice, and shared about what she felt being judged every week.

Talking about her experience during her stay on "Idol", Hollie agreed with Kelly when the host said it's terrifying to face critics on weekly basis. "Yeah, I mean it was really scary 'cause you have to think about your song and then think 'oh, are they gonna love it?'," she said.

In a previous interview, she said of the criticisms, "I kind of took it in a positive way to keep fighting and I think that's how my fans saw it as well. They saw me wanting to keep fighting, so I think they just had my back and got me through each week."

As for what's to come next, Hollie is looking forward to touring later this summer with the other top 9 contestants. She, Colton Dixon, DeAndre Brackensick, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Heejun Han, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Skylar Laine will kick off the roadshow on July 6 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Revealing what kind of music she would like to record for her album, she stated, "I'd like for my album to be kind of on the pop side but with a little bit of soul. I'd like to make music that's, you know, on The Top of the charts right now. So somewhere along those lines."
