Movie

While battling Loki's army on a ruined street, the God of Thunder is seen trying to encourage the Cap, who gets hit right on his chest, to fight back.

AceShowbiz - Captain America and Thor's close relation as a team is put under the spotlight in a new clip from Marvel's "The Avengers". The Cap and the God of Thunder are featured teaming up to battle Loki's army on a ruined street. At one point, the good ol' cap gets hit by the enemies and the demigod hero tries to encourage his partner to fight back.

Chris Evans' Cap and Chris Hemsworth's Thor are among the Earth's Mightiest Heroes who are recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Together, the superheroes must team up to fight Loki, a supervillain no single hero could ever withstand.

After throwing a star-studded Hollywood premiere on Wednesday, April 11, "The Avengers" will be unleashed in theaters across the U.S. on May 4. Directed by Joss Whedon, the film will also bring back Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Mark Ruffalo, meanwhile, will tackle the part of The Hulk.

In another news about the superhero ensemble movie, it has been rumored that the cast members were filming an additional scene for the movie after the premiere event. The rumor arose as Downey Jr. told reporter during the formal occasion, "We're actually not done shooting. We're shooting one more scene tonight. I'm not kidding."

Whedon and producer Kevin Feige quickly denied that the report is true and claimed that Downey Jr. was only joking. However, multiple insiders revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the actor actually told the truth. Ruffalo also added fuel to the rumor by telling The Playlist that the cast members would indeed film a small sequence, but he didn't know what it would be.
