Romance might be in the air for the youngest member of British boyband One Direction. According to New York Post's Page Six, 18-year-old Harry Styles is in a relationship with Lily Halpern, a "Wishlist" singer who serves as an opening act for Big Time Rush on their 2011 nationwide tour.
Words are, Styles has been dating 19-year-old Halpern for a few months, and their relationship is "getting quite serious" with her being spotted leaving the New York hotel where he was staying with his bandmates in March. A representative for the band, however, was quick to debunk the romance rumor, telling the publication, "Never heard of her before; Harry is single."
While Styles was linked to Halpern, his bandmate Niall Horan was rumored to get a rejection from a Scottish actress. The Mirror has just brought out a report that the one-fifth of the pop group had once asked Freya Mavor, the star of E4's teen drama "Skins", out on a date, but she turned him down.
"Niall took a liking to Freya and they chatted a couple of times between interviews," a source for the British tabloid spilled. "It was just after 'The X Factor' last year but, sadly, the feeling wasn't reciprocated." The source added, "Freya just said he wasn't her type. She is single but she's confident and knows her own mind, and Niall just wasn't the one for her."
