Hours after tweeting that being a mother is 'no joke', the former 'Gossip Girl' actress shares to her Twitter followers about the little incident she had during her first outing.

Hilary Duff has taken a little break from her mommy duties. Around a week after giving a birth to her first child with Mike Comrie, the former star of Disney Channel's "Lizzie McGuire" enjoyed her first night out, and given her tweets about the outing, she apparently managed to have a little fun.
"Omg my first outing in a week and I hit @AlisiaLeibel in the eye with a shrimp tail! Cant take me anywhere! Lord help me!" the 24-year-old first tweeted. Less than an hour later, she followed it up with another one that read, "1st outing complete with no tears!Made it home early...just in time to feed Luca.figuring this motherhood thing out!Yay! A grown up din;)"
Just hours earlier, the Olivia Burke of "Gossip Girl" admitted that being a mother is tough. "4am... sleepy eyed. Feeding baby... whew this job is no joke!" so she shared to her Twitter followers. A day prior, she tweeted, "Luca fed! Mamma fed! Time to do it all again in 2 hours! Oh how life has changed! Lol In such a wonderful way :)"
Duff welcomed her first son on March 20 evening. Breaking the news on Twitter, she wrote, "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy. We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world. He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well."
