A few days after a picture from the set of "The Carrie Diaries" leaked, the first official image from The CW's pilot is unleashed. Unlike the set photo which saw the young Carrie Bradshaw in a casual outfit, the new one features AnnaSophia Robb's character channeling her inner fashionista.

Sporting Carrie's iconic curly locks, the 18-year-old actress looks chic in a green animal print cardigan and a sequined dress. She completes her look with a pair of bright red heels while posing against the backdrop of a city skyline.

Speaking about the wardrobe in the project, costume designer Eric Daman ("Gossip Girl") says, "It's a rare invitation to dress a character whose reputation truly precedes her. Having played a hand in designing for the Carrie we know and love, I am honored to be chosen to carry the torch - to illuminate the woman we know by discovering the young lady she was."

"The Carrie Diaries", which will serve as the "Sex and the City" prequel, will follow Carrie in her younger ages, when she asks her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family while exploring the worlds of high school and Manhattan.

Candace Bushnell, who wrote the novel on which the pilot is based, serves as an executive producer along with Amy Harris, Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Len Goldstein. Ellen Wong and Stefania Owen join the cast ensemble as Carrie's best friend Jill "The Mouse" Thompson and her 14-year-old sister Dorrit respectively.
