Vanessa Hudgens let out her inner bad girl as she filmed a robbery scene on the set of "Spring Breakers" in Florida. Ditching her pretty starlet persona, the 23-year-old actress was caught on camera rocking a ski-mask and wielding a hammer before raiding a restaurant in St. Petersburg.

Also spotted on the set on Thursday night, March 15 was Ashley Benson, who brought a handgun as she joined Hudgens in robbing the eatery. Donning blue jumpers and pink hot pants, the two ladies were seen running out from a yellow pick-up truck driven by Rachel Korine before rushing into the restaurant and grabbing some cash from a visitor.

In "Spring Breakers", Hudgens, Benson, Korine and Selena Gomez will play best friends who decide to rob fast food joint so they can afford to go on spring break in Florida. Hudgens is cast as the "crazy party girl" in the gang, while Gomez will play the most religious member of the group.

Two days prior, the young stars were also caught on camera filming a scene on the streets of St. Petersburg. The four were spotted showing off their tanned skin in colorful bikinis while cruising around the town on different color scooters.

Joining the girls in the film is James Franco, who portrays a drug and arms dealer who bails the gang out of jail and entices them to kill his rival. Currently still in the production process, the Harmony Korine-directed drama has yet to set a U.S. release date.
