Chris Brown Gushes About Being Role Model After Winning Grammy
Celebrity

'Im just happy to inspire growth and positivity!' tweets the 'Next 2 You' singer shortly after bringing home Best R 'n' B Album from the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown has just insinuated that he should still be considered as role model. Just minutes after winning a golden gramophone at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, the 22-year-old took to his Twitter to post, "People who make mistakes and learn from them are ROLE MODELS too."

The "Wet the Bed" singer came up with the message after he made his return to the Grammys' stage for the first time since he got arrested for assaulting Rihanna back in 2009. In the tweet, he further expressed his excitement by writing, "Im just happy to inspire growth and positivity! #TEAMBREEZYdidit."

Breezy hit the stage inside Los Angeles' Staples Center on Sunday, February 12 evening as he performed "Turn Up the Music". Busting his best moves and showing off some fancy footwork, he received warm response from the crowd. Later that night, he was awarded with Best R&B Album for his effort "F.A.M.E.".

The Sunday event also saw Breezy's ex-girlfriend Riri entertaining the audience with her solo performance of "We Found Love". The 23-year-old, who rocked the red carpet with her revealing black Giorgio Armani gown, also collaborated with Coldplay in a duet for "Princess of China".

Although Breezy and Riri both came to the event, the exes reportedly kept their distance. In fact, Breezy skipped the red carpet and headed straight inside the venue, while Riri showed off her dress that features a plunging neckline. It should be noted though that Breezy still had a relaxed restraining order that required him to stay 10 yards away from Riri at a music industry event.
