A man who used to stalk Madonna has escaped mental hospital in Los Angeles and the police are still hunting him down. Robert Dewey Hoskins made a threat to the pop star in the '90s, saying he would slit her throat from ear to ear if she did not agree to marry him. He served 10 years in prison on those charges.

According to the police, Hoskins managed to go out of Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, California unnoticed last Friday, February 3. He was believed to have hopped on a bus to the Long Beach area.

"Hoskins is highly psychotic when not taking his medication and has very violent tendencies," the LAPD said in a statement. "The public is being warned to notify police immediately if he is found, and to not engage him on their own."

Hoskins is reportedly the same man who sets his sights on Halle Berry. After serving his time for Madonna's case, he was arrested in July last year of vandalism and sent to the mental hospital.
