Katy Perry has settled her divorce with Russell Brand amicably. A little over a month after her husband of 14 months filed for divorce, the "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" hitmaker filed her response to his divorce filing in Los Angeles Superior Court, stating that the two of them have reached agreement over their property issues.
In the court documents, the 27-year-old singer declared, "The parties have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party." She signed the papers with a smiley face next to her name.
According to the February 7 filing, Perry also asked the court not to award spousal support to Brand. The "Teenage Dream" singer additionally requested that her name is to be restored to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.
Perry and Brand got married in October 2010. After weeks of break-up speculations, Brand filed for divorce in December 2011. The estranged couple reportedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement, but it was reported recently that the "Rock of Ages" star won't be asking for money from his singer wife.
