Claiming that her 20-inch waist is natural, Romanian-born model Ioana Spangenberg defends her figure as saying, 'I just have a small stomach.'

AceShowbiz - Ioana Spangenberg sparks Internet frenzy with her shocking appearance when her photos and videos hit the web earlier this week. Earning the nickname "The Human Hourglass" for her Barbie-like 32-20-32 figure, the 30-year-old model insists that her small waist is all natural and not a result of a strict diet.
"No one seems to believe it, but every day I eat three big meals and I snack on chocolate and crisps all the time. I just have a small stomach," she told The Sun. Though claiming she doesn't have a problem with appetite, the Romanian-born girl admitted she has what she calls "a natural gastric band", explaining, "If I eat too much, I feel sick."
Weighing more than seven pounds at birth, Ioana said her different figure started to become apparent when she was a teenager. "When I was 13 my waist was around 15 inches. Someone could put their hands around it, their fingers would touch and they would still have extra room," she recalled.
Ioana revealed that she was struggling with body image because "in Romania it is better to be overweight, because that means you are from a wealthy family." It's her husband Jan who accepts her the way she is. "Jan was the first person who saw me as beautiful and encouraged me to celebrate my body," she sang praises for the man who dated her for eight months before they got married.
Now Ioana feels more confidence with her figure. "I would still like to gain weight so I don't look so shocking - and now that I live in Germany I can't get enough pizza or kebabs. But I'm finally comfortable in my own skin," so she stated.
