Zac Efron gets the spotlight in the first poster for "The Paperboy". The 24-year-old actor, who takes a role of Jack James in the movie, sports a retro look while sitting in a vintage car. Nicole Kidman, who channels her sexy side as Charlotte Bless, stares at him from the passenger seat.

Matthew McConaughey, who plays Jack's journalist brother Ward James, is seen standing in the background. Meanwhile, John Cusack's eyes, which give an impression that he is a cruel man, are featured below Zac's image.

Based on a 1995 novel of the same title by Pete Dexter, "The Paperboy" centers on the brother of investigative reporter at the Miami Times, Ward, who tries to help him free a possibly-innocent man on death row (Cusack). Things go a bit sour when Jack falls in love with a lady whom Cusack's character's been writing to from inside the prison.

Lee Daniels directs the thriller, which is yet to get a release date.
