AceShowbiz - Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have reunited for a short while over the weekend. Just days after the "Margin Call" actress announced her plan to divorce the "Two and a Half Men" star, news came out that the estranged couple spent an hour together at a friend's home in Beverly Hills for counseling.
According to Us Magazine, the 49-year-old actress and her 33-year-old husband arrived at the residence, which an insider said to be "affiliated with Kabbalah" and referred to as the "Kabbalah House", separately. After an hour, the two left together but got into separate cars. The source added, "They seemed very somber."
In a related news, Demi has reportedly flown to Hawaii for some "soul-searching". Daily Mirror reported before making the trip, she spent the past few days throwing Ashton's possessions out of their Beverly Hills home. "She's determined to clear Ashton out of her life but she has been crying and crying," a friend said.
The so-called pal added, "Demi is heartbroken but keeps repeating the mantra, 'I have to be strong'. She's in Hawaii to do a bit of soul-searching. We're very worried about her." Another source, meanwhile, claimed that Ashton has been staying at the Mondrian hotel in Los Angeles and is "going off the rails".
In the new issue of PEOPLE, a friend of Ashton claimed that the actor "was ready to end" his six years of marriage to Demi, but "he wanted to wait for Demi to actually do it." The pal explained, "He loved her but couldn't live with her," before noting that Demi "really wanted to save the marriage but couldn't deal with the pain of his cheating."
