Vanessa Hudgens sets out on a wild adventure with Josh Hutcherson in a first trailer for "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island". In the newly released promo video, Hudgens and Hutcherson are seen embarking on a journey in a remote jungle, which is dwelled by gigantic creatures. They are exploring a volcanic mountain, riding a giant bee and fighting other monstrous animals.

Hudgens plays tour guide Kailaini, while Hutcherson reprises his role as Sean in this sequel to 2008's "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D". They start their journey as Sean receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist. Unable to stop him from going, Sean's new stepfather, Hank, joins the quest. Together with Kailani and her father, they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.

"Journey 2" is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on February 10, 2012. Joining Hutcherson and Hudgens in the cast ensemble are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who plays Hank, Luis Guzman who portrays Kailani's father, and Michael Caine who stars as Sean's grandfather. Brad Peyton serves as the director for the adventure movie.
